NBC has once again attacked the integrity of Remington and their products. This time around the news company has accused Remington of knowingly selling their shotguns with a trigger mechanism that is “prone to failure”. I think a vast majority of gun owners have at some point owned a Remington model 870 or model using the “Common Fire Control System”. Remington has responded to the NBC claims with the release of the video above. It seems NBC decided to leave out some key information they found while researching their report. The “news” isn’t quite as sensational when all the facts are told.

Kel-Tec has released a video updating the public about changes they are making to their soon to be released shotgun. There was a lot of concern about the trigger reset and a couple other issues with the KSG at Shot Show 2011 and Kel-Tec chose to immediately address them before the third quarter 2011 release date.
